ancien prix : 84e

prix solde : 63e

% de baisse : [(63-84)/84]*100 =-25% = baisse 25%

On a donc :

x – 30/100 × x = 49€

x – 0,30x = 49€

0,70x = 49

x = 49/0,70

Donc le prix initial était 70€.

(b) On pose x le pourcentage de la promotion sur le prix initial.

On a donc :

84€ – x% de 84€ = 63€

84 – 84x = 63

84(1–x) = 63

1 – x = 63/84

x = 1 – 0,75

x = 0,25 or 0,25 = 25/100 = 25%

Donc la promotion est de 25% sur le prix initial.
